Orange Beach City Schools is located along the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama, surrounded by unique coastal ecosystems and natural resources that help shape our learning experiences. As a beach community, we place a strong emphasis on environmental stewardship and appreciation for the natural world around us. These coastal surroundings provide meaningful opportunities for hands-on learning and community engagement.

Our district is united under the identity of 'Mako Nation', a term that reflects the pride, connection, and shared purpose among our students, families, staff, and community partners. At the heart of our culture is The Mako Way, which encourages everyone in our school community to lead with caring, honesty, respect, integrity, and trust.
